Competitor Monitoring
Competitor Monitoring tracks what your competitors charge for the products you sell, matches their listings to your catalog, and turns the result into concrete price recommendations you can approve with one click.
Everything in the app is scoped to a catalog — the selection of products you want to monitor. Pick a catalog from the selector at the top of the app, and every page below reflects that catalog.
Dashboard
The dashboard is your at-a-glance summary for the selected catalog:
- Price Recommendations and Products Imported counters, each with a trend versus the previous period.
- Top Competitors — the vendors that match the most of your products.
- Product Price Segments and Product Profit Groups — how your catalog is distributed across price and margin bands.
- Price Index History — a chart of your price level versus each competitor over time.
- Account Summary — key totals for the catalog.
Competitors
The Competitors page lists every competing vendor discovered for your catalog, with their domain, the number of matches against your products, how many products they carry, and when they were last scraped.
Competitors are discovered and refreshed by Attlaz's scraping pipeline — you don't add them by hand. Select a competitor to drill into the individual products Attlaz found on their store.
Product matching
Before competitor prices can be compared, their listings have to be matched to your products. The Product Matching page manages this:
- Each match job shows its status (pending, running, completed, or failed), the competitor it covers, a live progress bar, and the matching algorithm and version used.
- Select Request product matching to start a new job for the catalog. The page updates automatically as the job runs, so you can watch progress without refreshing.
Matching is what populates the competitor prices you see throughout the rest of the app.
Monitoring products
The Products page is the heart of the app — one row per product in your catalog, showing:
- Your current price, cost price, and GTIN.
- An optional proposed price, with a tooltip explaining which strategy produced it and why.
- The number of competitor matches and the average competitor price.
- A scrollable strip of the matched competitor listings. For each competitor you see their price, the percentage difference versus your price (green when they're cheaper, red when they're more expensive), a stock indicator, and the shipping cost, along with when that listing was last refreshed.
You can filter the grid by brand, category, product group, or tags to focus on a segment of your catalog.
Price recommendations
The Price Recommendations page is where competitor intelligence becomes action. It lists suggested price changes, filterable by Pending / Approved / Rejected / All. Each row shows the product, the strategy that generated the suggestion, the current price, the suggested price, and the difference in both euros and percentage.
For a pending recommendation, choose Approve or Reject. Approving records your decision so the new price can flow back to your store; rejecting dismisses the suggestion.
Price strategies
Recommendations are governed by price strategies — the pricing rules for your catalog. Each strategy has a name and description, a type, a priority (which rule wins when several apply), and optional guardrails: a floor margin, a floor price, and a ceiling price so a recommendation never drops below your margin or outside your allowed range. Toggle a strategy on or off to control whether it produces recommendations.
Product tags
Product tags let you group products dynamically based on criteria (for example, a brand, a price band, or a margin threshold). A tag is defined by one or more rule groups, and once a product matches, the tag can be referenced by your price strategies — so you can, for example, price "clearance" products differently from "premium" ones. Tags can be enabled, disabled, edited, or removed.
Price alerts
Price alerts notify you when a monitored condition is met — for example, when a competitor undercuts you on a product. Each alert has a name, a condition type, and an active/inactive status.
How it fits together
- Choose the catalog to monitor.
- Attlaz scrapes competing vendors and matches their listings to your products.
- The Products page shows where you stand against each competitor.
- Your price strategies and product tags turn that into price recommendations.
- You approve or reject each recommendation, and price alerts keep you informed of important changes.
